A career path leading to TechWolf

Daniel’s path to TechWolf has been rooted in his passion for data-driven HR and customer centricity. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in International Business & Economics at Vietnam National University, Daniel joined Unilever’s Future Leaders Program, which exposed him to various functions across the business. During this time, he discovered a strong interest not only in HR (his home function) but also in customer engagement, particularly during his rotation in sales.

“Unilever gave me the chance to work in Vietnam, Singapore, and the UK across local, regional, and global HR roles, where I gained an end-to-end view of how data can empower strategic people decisions at different levels of the organization,”

After completing his MBA, Daniel was drawn to TechWolf because of its unique focus on data-led HR transformation and the opportunity to join a fast-paced, impactful startup. "It felt like the perfect fit – combining my passion for people data with my drive for customer-focused work."

Settling in with a supportive culture

Since joining, Daniel has been thriving in TechWolf’s energetic and collaborative environment. “The culture here is incredible,” he shares. “

“The level of autonomy and responsibility you’re given is refreshing. And the welcoming atmosphere has made it easy to connect with colleagues from across the company.” Daniel appreciates the team spirit and the focus on growth, describing TechWolf as a place where everyone is deeply engaged in building the next chapter together.“

A customer-centric approach at TechWolf

For Daniel, each day is focused on engaging with customers to help them unlock the full potential of their skills data. Collaborating closely with teams across TechWolf, he partners with clients to deliver solutions that make a tangible difference.

His biggest highlight so far has been his first customer meeting.

“Right from the start, it was clear that collaboration is at the heart of what we do,” he reflects. “It was incredibly rewarding to solve complex problems alongside my customer and colleagues, helping the client realize the potential of their skills data via successful use cases. That experience reinforced why I joined TechWolf—it’s all about working hand-in-hand with customers to guide them on the best ways to leverage our technology.”

Looking forward to solving complex customer challenges

Looking to the future, Daniel is excited to be part of an industry that’s continuously evolving.

“I can’t wait to see how the skills data space grows and to be at the forefront of this movement,” Daniel says.

"Collaborating with customers to tackle new challenges is something I’m deeply passionate about, and the innovative problem-solving at TechWolf has been a great source of energy for me."

Using AI while interviewing at Techwolf

At TechWolf, we see generative AI as part of the modern toolkit — and we expect candidates to treat it that way too. We love it when people use AI to take their thinking to the next level, rather than to replace it.You are welcome to use tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or others during our interview process, especially in take-home assignments or technical exercises. We encourage you to bring your full toolkit — and that includes AI — as long as it reflects your own thinking, decisions and creativity. We don’t see AI as replacing your skills. Instead, we’re interested in how you use it: to brainstorm ideas, speed up iteration, validate your thinking, or unlock new ways of approaching a challenge. Great candidates show judgment in when to rely on AI, how to adapt its output, and where to go beyond it.

What we’re looking for:

Our interviews are designed to understand how you think, solve problems, and express ideas. Using AI in a way that amplifies those things — not masks them — is encouraged.

What to avoid:

We ask that you don’t submit AI-generated work without review, or present answers that you can’t fully explain. We’re not testing the model — we’re getting to know you, your skills, and your potential. If there are cases where we don’t want you to use AI for something, we’ll tell you ahead of the interview being booked. In short: use AI as you would on the job — as a smart assistant, not a stand-in.

Example: Programming with AI

In a coding challenge, you’re welcome to use generative AI to support your workflow — just like you might in a real development environment. For instance, you might use AI to quickly generate boilerplate code, look up syntax, or get a first-pass solution that you then adapt and debug collaboratively. What we’re interested in is your ability to reason through trade-offs, communicate clearly, think about complexity and iterate effectively — not whether you memorized the syntax perfectly. If using AI helps you stay in flow and focus on higher-level problem-solving, we consider that a strength. There could be some challenges where we won’t allow you to use AI - in that case we’ll tell you in advance, and will tell you why.
