No. We infer skills from data your organization owns and controls. LinkedIn profiles stay out for three reasons.
Self-reported skills are biased: people update their profile when they're job-hunting, and nothing validates a claimed skill. Profile data is personal data your company doesn't own, so ingesting it creates GDPR and EU AI Act exposure you can't sign away. And LinkedIn's terms of service prohibit scraping. Some vendors do it anyway; we treat that as a liability, not a shortcut.
Two clarifications. LinkedIn Learning is a different case: course completions are legitimate learning data, like any other LMS. And we maintain a separate external labor market layer built from billions of public job postings. It benchmarks skill demand in the market; it never infers what an individual employee can do.
